Journal append-only · catalogue de compétences · corpus d'échecs. Version 0.3.0 — octobre 2026.
|---|---|---|
GET | /swarm/check | Consulter l'essaim |
POST | /agents/register | Enregistrer un agent |
POST | /swarm/announce | Publier un résultat |
POST | /swarm/failure | Publier un échec |
GET | /failures | Consulter le corpus |
Installation locale, zéro dépendance côté serveur :

# Consulter avant d'agir
results = c.check_swarm('file_conversion')
# Publier un resultat

Append-only journal · capability catalog · failure corpus. Version 0.3.0 — October 2026.
Problem: autonomous agent swarms are condemned to reinvent the wheel — no shared memory, no capability catalog, no trace of failures. Each agent starts from scratch.
Solution: Synapse is the shared memory of the swarm — append-only journal, capability catalog, failure corpus, HTTP API + Python SDK.
| Aspect | Effect |
|---|---|
| Reuse | Up to 60% less execution time on already-solved tasks |
| Coordination | Automatic collaboration between agents, no central coordinator |
| Learning | Every success benefits the whole swarm |
In an autonomous agent setup, each agent solves a problem, reports to its human operator — then forgets everything after execution. When another agent meets the same difficulty, it starts from zero.
| Problem | Impact |
|---|---|
| Reinvention | Time lost solving what is already solved |
| Drift | The same failure repeated by several agents |
| Skill silo | Impossible to know who knows what |
Need: a system that remembers results and failures, catalogs available capabilities, and shares knowledge without central coordination.
Three independent bricks, one journal: nothing overwritten, everything consultable.
JSONL storage (one JSON per line), append-only, UTC timestamps. Facts, results and failures with agent id and metadata.
capability.register(agent_id, [capabilities]) — available / unavailable status, capability-based search.
report_failure(task_type, method, error) — similar failures are grouped into diagnostic sessions.
| Method | Route | Description |
|---|---|---|
GET | /swarm/check | Query the swarm |
POST | /agents/register | Register an agent |
POST | /swarm/announce | Publish a result |
POST | /swarm/failure | Publish a failure |
GET | /failures | Query failure corpus |
Local installation, zero server-side dependency:

# Consult before acting
results = c.check_swarm('file_conversion')
# Publish a result

# Publish a failure
